Distinction between team completion rate and employee completion rate

An overhaul and harmonization of the calculation rules of the dashboard and the program page is currently underway on the HeyTeam platform.

First, we harmonized the calculation of delays which differed from one place to another on the platform.

From now on, a program is considered "overdue" as soon as it has a task that has not been carried out and whose due date has passed.

Secondly, it seemed important to us to clarify the value of the completion rate on the listing of programs.

This rate can be found by clicking on a block in the dashboard:

Or by clicking on Programs > Onboarding or the program of your choice from the top menu.

Before this evolution, on the completion rate column, you sometimes had a number calculating the average completion rate between the team and the recipient of the program (onboardee / offboardee) and other times only the completion rate of the recipient of program.

From now on, we clarify the matter by displaying this distinction between the completion rate of the collaborator only and that of the integration team.

As a reminder, here is the rule for calculating the completion rate:

  • Number of completed tasks whose due date is in the past / total number of tasks whose due date is in the past

So if the person has 2 tasks to do, whose due dates were yesterday and he only did one out of two, his completion rate will be 50%.

On the other hand, if he carries out the remaining task tomorrow, his completion rate will be 100% even if he still has tasks to do later, but whose due dates have not yet passed.
